We are passionate about supporting holistic approaches to pelvic wellness as a whole, and the direct birthing experiences themselves. We’ve experienced firsthand the transformative effects of what taking our health into our hands opens up within our bodies and within our lives, and delight in supporting others as they walk this path of sovereignty.
We integrate the wisdom of our ancestors in what we do, and integrate traditional methods in our woodcraft where we can. Whether you are new to sovereignty in wellbeing, or have been a long-time advocate, you are welcome here.

These are the things that get us dancing - conscientious lumber selection, ethical production, meticulous care and uncompromising quality. Often a series of seats will come from a single tree, as we hand-select lumber directly from small-scale sawyers, looking for unique colours and markings not easily found in commercial grade lumber. We use traditional methods where we can to weld, forge and modify tools and supports we’ll need. We fastidiously sand our seats, paying special attention to the finger grooves so that they feel silky smooth to the touch when used during the final stages of birthing to bear down. In-house lasering provides option for clients to add in their own logo at no extra cost. Did we mention that we also hand-stamp seats? We do, using bespoke metal stamps to match holes to legs for clients, and match leg to seats when there are multiples.
We strive to ensure that all aspects, from tree roots to finished seats, uphold eco-conscious awareness. Our seats are finished with a 3 layered oil + wax finish using Odie’s products. These are all food-safe, non-toxic, natural blends made in the USA. This ensures our health as makers, and a long-term, sustainable re-application process for future care.
Non-Toxic Finishes
95% of commercial lumber is dried in kilns designed to speed up the process using chemicals, along with dyes that are added to create uniform colours. Like birth, we believe that trusting in the natural stages will allow for the most remarkable outcomes. Our lumber comes from single-cut trees that are professionally air-dried by people we know. As such, the wood we use is free of chemicals, dyes and filled with unique natural grains and markings.
